Story 1 Tejas – Turning Creativity into a Career
Tejas, a final-year BCA student, was anxious about his future and eager to start earning even before graduation. During his mentoring sessions with us, we discovered his strong interest and talent in graphic design and video editing. Recognizing his potential, our team guided him to explore opportunities in digital branding and marketing for local businesses.
With consistent mentoring and encouragement, Tejas founded his own venture Markifix Digital Marketing Company in 2024. Through dedication, creativity, and hard work, he built a thriving business that helps small enterprises grow through digital promotion.
In just the first year, Tejas achieved a turnover of ₹6 lakhs, marking a remarkable milestone in his entrepreneurial journey. His story stands as a shining example of how the right guidance, skills, and self-belief can transform a student’s worry into a path of success and independence.

Story-2 Rajesh’s Medicinal Farming with Chia Seeds
Rajesh, a young farmer from rural Maharashtra, had been struggling to earn a stable income from traditional farming. During SSM’s Sustainable Farming and Rural Development Program, he learned about medicinal crop cultivation, soil health management, and market linkages for value-added products.
Inspired by the sessions, Rajesh decided to experiment with chia seed cultivation a high-value crop known for its rich nutritional and medicinal properties. With guidance from SSM’s agri-experts and continuous mentoring, he successfully transitioned his small plot into a profitable medicinal farming venture.
Today, Rajesh supplies chia seeds to local wellness stores and health brands, earning a steady income that’s more than double his previous yield from conventional crops. Beyond personal success, he also trains nearby farmers on adopting sustainable and organic practices.
Rajesh’s journey is a living example of how knowledge, innovation, and support can transform agriculture into a path of prosperity and purpose.

Story-3 Amol’s – Innovating for Farmers’ Ease
Amol, an ITI student from Gogari, always had a deep connection with farming and a desire to make agriculture easier for his community. Despite limited resources, his curiosity and determination led him to start experimenting with tools that could simplify farm work.
Through the guidance and mentorship, Amol learned to refine his ideas, combine technology with practicality, and design innovative tools suited to farmers’ real challenges. His efforts resulted in the creation of an “All-in-One Agricultural Instrument” a multipurpose device that saves time, effort, and cost for small-scale farmers.
Today, Amol continues to improve his prototypes and dreams of making affordable innovations accessible to every farmer. His journey reflects how passion, mentorship, and innovation can come together to create lasting rural impact

Story-4 From Soya to Soya Paneer – Empowering Women in Gaulkhed
In 2022, two determined women from the small village of Gaulkhed decided to transform a simple idea into a sustainable source of income. With the guidance and mentorship and the continuous support of SSM’s Women Empowerment Program, they learned how to process soya into nutritious soya paneer right from their homes.
Starting with minimal resources, they partnered with a local vegetable vendor who helped them reach nearby households and village markets. Through persistence and teamwork, they gradually turned their home-based venture into a reliable source of income.
Today, these women earn enough to support their families with dignity, no longer needing to work as daily labourers in the fields. Their journey reflects how mentorship, skill development, and local entrepreneurship can together create meaningful change in rural lives.
