Sadhana Shikshan Mandal's
Founder Sharad Shinde is Electronics Engineer of 1985 from India's premier institute Manipal Institute of Technology. He was having opportunities to work for MNCs with a good salary, as all his colleagues and siblings were working for MNCs in USA, but he opted to be trustee of a philanthropic organization known for discipline and charity "Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Shegaon” at remote place. Realizing the need to educate rural students of Buldhana district of Maharashtra he established the trust Sadhana Shikshan Mandal in 1991 and Saraswati College in 2009. He invests his time in making education better and affordable.
Sadhana Shikshan Mandal (SSM) trust established the Saraswati College in 2009 and started offering BBA, BCA, and MCA programs at a remote place Shegaon in Maharashtra. The primary motto of Saraswati College (SC) is affordable education for all. In the short span SC has established a reputation in the region and has the highest placement, admission, and students in university merit list. Despite all odds the trust has paid full salary to all the teaching and non-teaching staff during corvid 19 times. Many poor, meritorious students are granted exemption from the college fees and in some cases they are supported above the fees dues. The founder of the trust and college himself is a former trustee of the Sant Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan Trust Shegaon, which is famous for discipline, social service, honesty across the country. Saraswati College has adopted villages and taken up various welfare activities in education, food, health, and organic farming domain.
